"Ken Hensley is a genius at
the keyboards and one of the best writers of his generation".
Ken burst on the scene in the early 70's as the keyboard player, song
writer and backing singer with Uriah Heep, one of the most successful
British rock acts still around today. It was Ken who gave the band their
distinctive keyboard sound. It was however, as the principle song writer with
Heep that he is most fondly remembered. He wrote a string of multi million
hit albums and singles, including Lady In Black, July
Morning and The Wizard amongst a host of others.

Running Blind is an album that will make any listener sit up
and take notice. Featuring 14 Hensley originals, the album begins with a
fantastic instrumental Overture/Prelude which then bursts into a string of
classic Hensley rock songs, "Out Of My Control", "You've Got
It" ( a brilliant parody on life today) and also "The Final
Solution". Ken also knows the softer side with "I Close My
Eyes" and "A Little Piece Of Me", before tearing into the
superb "Free Spirit", a reflection of the man himself and also the
name of his new band.
"Running Blind marks a real return to form".
