JIMMY DILLON

"The boy can play ..... " John Lee Hooker

Jimmy Dillon is a stellar guitarists, a soulful singer and a compelling songwriter from the San Francisco Bay area. On the international circuit, Jimmy established himself as musical director with Clarence Clemons (sax player with Bruce Springsteen) touring world-wide for several years. Jimmy has performed with such luminaries as Dr John, Bob Dylan, Carlos Santana and recorded a duet with John Lee Hooker. His first two CD's "Bad & Blue" and "The Next Frame" were recorded with members of Robert Cray's core band; Richard Cousins, Kevin Hayes and Jim Pugh, produced by Ossie Ahlers with special guests including Huey Lewis & The News. Both of these superb albums met with high acclaim and commercial success have  established Jimmy as a bonified star in Europe.

This CD, "Undercover Man" is sensational and a must for all blues fans, it out now and features the legendary Memphis Horns section.  The eleven top tracks feature swampy slide guitar and funky grooves, blended with a distinctive R&B sound that is Jimmy Dillon's own. P.S. the horns are absolutely brilliant!
