ALIVE 1990
The classic line up featuring Sonja Kristina, Darryl Way, Francis Monkman, Rob Martin and Florian Pilkington-Micsa, has always been regarded at the definitive CURVED AIR. The new release ALIVE 1990 is a digitally mastered first ever release of the band's famous re-union gig at London's Town & Country Club in September 1990. As it turned out, this was the very last performance of this great band.
ALIVE 1990 is a quality recording which celebrates Curved Air at their finest and playing all the classics from their first three albums, Vivaldi, Marie Antoinette and Back Street Luv, which sound better than ever.
The album booklet contains unique photo's taken at the gig. The the track "Twenty Years On" although not recorded to the level of the rest of the gig, is included as a collector's item as this number was never performed before or since! The good news is that plans are underway for a special "Thirty Years On" tour to celebrate both the new album release and the band.
