"I'm still proud of Mail Order Magic despite the circumstances of its
making. I remember it as being full of my eccentricities. It was quaint,
cute and full of great songs, but a small album. It was nowhere near as
expensive as some of the others and it was made against a background of
financial problems and changing studio's. I usually make an album then
move on to something else, but given the circumstances, I think Mail Order
Magic was a good album, full of character that in part reflected the
